Sexta-feira 13, Jack of Hearts no Moto Garage

Foto: Gika Oliva
— Todo mundo tentou matar a Jack, principalmente, nós mesmos.

Jack of Hearts volta ao palco do Moto Garage

Foto: Gika Oliva

Apresentação é nesta sexta-feira

A Jack of Hearts faz sua volta aos palcos locais. O sexteto santa-mariense sob ao palco do Moto Garage nesta sexta-feira (30), 22h. Na formação Lennon Schwarz, vocal; Adriano Zuli, teclados, violão e voz; Rodrigo Cassuli, baixo; Márcio Grings, harmônica e voz; Felipe Quadros, guitarra, pedal steel e voz, e Cezar Gomes, bateria.

Ouça: Jack of Hearts - "7 + 3 = 11" Live in Moto Garage (15.10.11)

Foto: Fabiano Dallmeyer

John Lennon afirmou em Come Together, canção que abre o álbum Abbey Road, dos Beatles, que 1 + 1 = 3 "One and one is three".

Apresentação acontece no palco do Boteco do Rosário

Jack of Hearts = Romance (versão 2) by MarcioGrings

ProcuraSeFotografo".

Jack of Hearts covers - Tiny Dancer (1971)

A música foi dedicada a ela no álbum Madman Across the Water (1971).

Lado A

(01) Jack of Hearts (Grings/Taques)

I'm again discarding a player
Don't call me, man! It is not good you wonder why
Tonight I'm discarding a player (Jack, Jack of Hearts)

Who at this place wants money? (Jack, Jack of Hearts)
You need to pray to the gods of  lust (Jack, Jack of Hearts)
All but one will lose this game, honey! (Jack, Jack of Hearts)
A bluff with the lowest card (Jack, Jack of Hearts)

Who never tried to be a good man (Jack, Jack of Hearts)

(03) Crush (Grings/Ardais)

Hurting fire
Born to lose
Now my lips touch the bottle
Around my empty hand

I don’t worry with frays
When I play my stone
Who feels no fear is dead
I’ll across the river sailing
To knock the silver bell

Broken arms
Chained legs
The sun was gone before the five
No evil is so bad
Wanted to travel as a ghost ship

I take easy the big south alone
Fast compassion, I don’t mind
When I think about delight
I beg lord, oh crush!

(03) Traces of Son House (Grings/Andrade)

I see the black engine steam
Snarling in the metal like a beast

I say to myself it’s not real, it was never clear
It’s trying to hold, trying to hold the wind

My gal has gone
Before changing the season
She was mine

I say to myself it’s not real, it was never clear
It’s trying to hold, trying to hold the fall

I walk beside a strange man
Seems like a face of Son House

I say to myself it’s not real, it was never clear
It’s trying to hold, trying to hold the hill

(04) Milk & Honey (Grings/Andrade/Ardais)

Girl of my side
Let me take you to a new altitude
I want pay my price
Please, Lord! Forgive my sins
I'll cut a bundle of wood
It could be nice
Me and you, living
In a little cabin on the hill
Oh, over time!
i want be busy, in fixing
The blades of the mill

Girl of my side
Let me take you
To my Woodland

Girl of my side

Girl don't be sad
Let me take you in croup of a horse
I see something on my trap
can see you the wild cat on the track?
It could be nice
Our bodies burning with good dry wood
Oh, over time!
My heart's been busy
I realize I've found on you
The real truth

Girl of my side
Let me take you
To my Woodland

Girl of my side...

(05) One More Ride (Lennon/Grings/Zanini)

Rain, long rains
losing my mind
I can't sing a song
A poem that that I can not write

I Can't hear the sound of your cry
I Can't want absorve your force
I'm just a man squeezing the time

When I smile at you
This means nothing
It's just another verse of a blues
That never ends on me

Hold my tears
Lasts me with your love
And after, please
Walk away from me

Rain, long rains
losing my mind
I can't sing a song
A poem that I can not write
These empty arms
no safe confort
Only room for one more ride
Without verses or rhymes
Without compass or time
Just... you know...
Never mind!

(06) Booze & Pills (Grings/Zanini)

Every time who says I'll never look back
All this isjust one big lie
Last night, a man threw something out the window
Big radios can fly
And he still made a Greek statue, in the front door
Where I come from men no cry

Honey, please, I beg you
Didn't come back home nevermore
I still love you, and I miss you
And if I suspect that you already have another man
This will means the end

The empty cracked cup beside the bed
this a clock mark my time
the stack of dirty dishes in the sunny kitchen
I will soon give out, I might try
I'll just get out of here to get more booze and pills
That's my emotional and physical insight

Look at me, I think I'm having insane visions
I Hear the rumors in the door of the sky
I feel her body coming together in my sheets
Only a fool in love is betrayed by the mind
Between the Television and the pages of magazines
I see the stereotypes of my woman kind

(07) Vampire’s Dance (Grings)

It’s not real
It was never touchable
Inconstant like a cold sensation
Running down your spine
Rain in my bucket
Slow motion drama
Inorganic like lipstick
Untouchable like smoke

Fast like a flash, blinding on the road

Burning, burning, burning my soul
Seeing my boring life!
Nothing to lose, welcome sorrow

Yesterday, now and tomorrow

Lado B

(01) Romance (Grings/Ardais)

My shoulders holding the weight
And now I feel like fool
Always going back in time
In April there are shadows on the moon
I’ll get back to the sunny side
Before the fall, my romance
Sometimes i hear Elvis in my Chevy
Until, I turn the ignition, I’m tense

I remember those years ago
Going down the seaside
We have a lee shore
Now I recall those years ago

Sometimes the worst can be the best
You Know I’m fast as a bullet
Bad whisky running through my veins
And what you’ll take out for insurance

Say what you feel, this is a basic need
Again we're lying in the same bed
I might not prefer any assurance
Because, I’m just a hobo and like to wander

I remember those years ago
Going down the seaside
We have a lee shore
Now I recall those years ago

(02) A Flame That Still Burns (Grings/Ardais)

Rosemary smell hovering in the varanda
And I know that skin smells like lavender
Blue eyes blinking as two incandescent shooting stars
Memories of you
Our love is a bird that still sings

Smell of wet earth by the rain
Soon, my pillow of feathers
Will eat my head
Fireflies and slow night fall, stoning of my sweet pain
Memories of you
Our love is a flame that still burns

Cracks in the night
Wood sticks groaning in the fire side

(03) Back To Town (Grings/Zanini/Kader/Berlese)

Like lonely horse that gather in the barn
Looking no expectations and nothing you see apart

Like a homeless under the street lights
Blind and deaf by such a fool disguise

Woman, you got me running
See my head back in fall
Looking something special
My heart is a empty hall

We need solve that setback this night
Before I back to town
I just go back to town

Like lonely horse that gather in the barn
Looking no expectations and nothing you see apart

Like a homeless under the street lights
Blind and deaf by such a fool disguise

God, you've got me learning
My dream signed in hell
Looking for something passionate
A mistake,  you can tell

We need solve that setback this night
Before I back to town
I just go back to town

(04) Before I Hit The Road (Grings/Zanini/Calvi)

A god damn cup of coffee
A brand new crooked smile
Ain't got but what makes me happy
And that you will not defile

Packed up my bag
and set myself on the road
I'm gon' be free from the slags
just make 'em explode

Another job to make my dues
makin' my way back south
Singin' this ol' ragged blues
just to move up my mouth

Got me a shot of whiskey
the moon shinin' up above
Tonight I'll leave the search
For a woman

Before i hit the road

(05) Love Is Not Fair (Lennon/Grings/Zanini/Taques)

I know, It's so strange
Alone lying on my bed
So much empty space
No weight on my sheets
Among the colors, I choose the red
( I prefer the red)

I remember the heat
Shaking in my legs
Soon I would leaving
Stay until I return
Never a woman makes me so mad
(This  woman makes me mad)

Ice cubes melting
In my empty glass
Gray dust in my ashtray
Please, Give me another shot
Sometimes to remember, Sometimes to forget
(Sometimes to forget)

The scars on my back
Show how crazy it can be
My mind get confused
at times like these
Love is a winding track
(Love is a winding track)

Because, everybody knows that a man needs a woman
Lovers come and go
Sometimes love not fair
Or rather, love is not fair

(06) NonPlussed Lives (Grings/Ardais)

Slow and very quiet
Looking the differences side by side
I found your list of preferences
And my name is outside it

Our NonPlussed lifes

Empty glances
Dirty shadows on the wall
When the troubles ramble on
I know, I saw the end knocking stronger

Our NonPlussed lives

Frozen hands in midsummer
All the blue heat don't warm my heart
Frozen sands in midsummer
I lost my password don't try on my card

Our NonPlussed lives
Our NonPlussed lives
Our NonPlussed lives

(07) Jack of Hearts [reprise] (Grings)

I'm again discarding a player
Who never tried to be a good man

(14) Jack and Rose (Zanini/ Grings/Cassuli/Taques)

You said you always Love her
In and out of stage
Nothing Changes

She and Rosemary
Are the same thing
The song remains the same

But Jack you always knew
When the curtain falls down you have to
Take your mask off

Rose was just one colorful point in the crowd

Taking Rose in your arms
You handle her with care
Love is not Fair

When you drink your booze and go on
On e more ride back to your town

Rose was Just on e colorful point in the crowd
You always be a rambler
Living one Love for night

Betting High on the target
You'll always tried to be a good man
